An accomplished business leader, with over twenty years experience as an entrepreneur, lawyer and economist in the UK, Israel and Russia. Before founding SyndiCrowd, Mr. Vasilyev spearheaded corporate realignments and strategic M&A activity for large corporates and institutional investors. He is an expert at identifying strategic opportunities for investors and managing closing activities.
As CEO of SyndiCrowd, Mr. Vasilyev is responsible for strategic direction, operations and risk analysis of all deals on the platform, to ensure investors receive maximum returns while keeping downside capital risk low.
Mr. Vasilyev is an experienced financial entrepreneur and is the co-founder of Symfonie Capital, a London-based financial advisory firm and industry leader in Central & Eastern Europe. He now served on the Advisory Board. He is also responsible for co-founding MADA Energie, a successful clean-tech startup based in America and Israel.
Before working with Symfonie Capital, he was a Founding Director of the Audar group of companies, which provides accounting, advisory and legal research services to businesses and governments in Russia. Under his leadership, Audar developed one of Russia’s largest and most comprehensive databases of legal opinions, legislation and regulations. Mr. Vasilyev has PhD in Economics from the Russian Foreign Trade Academy.
Oleg Ermolin | CFO of SyndiCrowd, LLC
Mr. Ermolin is an experienced an accomplished former CFO and auditor, financial advisor, investment broker, and risk analyst. He graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute with a Masters in Physics. He then graduated from the Russian Academy of Foreign Trade with a Masters in Economics and Global Markets. Following a career as an engineer and academic, Mr. Ermolin was an accountant, before being appointed CFO of two major FMCG wholesale food distribution companies, where he increased operational efficiencies and profits.
Following a career as an engineer and academic, Mr. Ermolin was an accountant, before being appointed CFO of two major FMCG wholesale food distribution companies, where he increased operational efficiencies and profits. In 2003, Mr. Ermolin founded his first own business - a property management company, which was sold in three years at an impressive valuation following a rapid period of growth. His entrepreneurial experience served him well as a financial advisor and mutual fund broker when he founded his first investment company Infina in 2006. He also managed the mutual funds and arbitrage investments, generating significant returns for partners and investors. He then established his second successful investment company in Cyprus in 2008. All these investment companies were successfully sold in 2009. Following that sale, Mr. Ermolin founded another investment company for arbitrage operations trading on the LSE in London. Mr. Ermolin also invests in a variety of fintech projects on early stage including investments in Symfonie Capital, and peer-to-peer payment company, Kwanji.
